Hi Rachel, thanks for your post aqnd your prayers.
Regarding Alec, i dont know. He's a neighbour of one of the folk in Calvary Way and i only found out on monday. I know that all details havent been posted here but i see what has happened as God working in him since the fellowship have been praying.
As for me, i have left a message at Crosslines and also phoned this morning, answer machine. However to show how in tune God is with what is going on (certainly at times i wonder if he's in command - you know what i mean), at our meeting that night (tuesday), we had a symbolic washing away of any rubbish in our lives, so i did that and i have felt better since. Also know i know that i have the fight in me, since Christ is in me, and that i am accepted in Christ but also the war is over, Christ won, in him we have the victory. Im starting to get that sinking form my head to my heart and believing it.

Romans 8:12-14 So don't you see that we don't owe this old do-it--yourself life one red cent. There's nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God's Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!

1cor 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
