Good News.

Dh had counclling tonight. Wow! God has been there for him.
He said he feels ...
I have some wonderful news.
Dh had counclling tonight. Wow! God has been there for him.
He said he feels different (God working in him) and truly regerts what he has done and wants to work hard on this marriage.
He would like a nightly family devotions, (something I have always thought was a good idea).
So thats what we did after dinner.
He has been opening up to me and being honest.
I can really feel God at work here.
God has been answering my prayers "with a big fat yes", that dh will get back to God and live the life God wants for us.
God has given me peace and joy, through out the pain the past few days.
From our conversations I feel dh wants to be more than a "Sunday Christian" and live life fully for God.
This makes me so happy, I know that if we both live our lives fully for God all will be ok.

Praise the Lord. Its also a witness to the fact that if we look to God and listen and stay in there thru the hard times the results are amazing. I am thrilled for you Becky and your husband too, this is a big step but an amzing one which will be even more appreciated in time.

Congratulations! A good marriage can be such a wonderful thing. Im not sure what you've been going through but good for you for sticking it out in a society where everyone likes to just take the easy route and quit!
I quite agree Laura, at a time when its easier to get divorced than to actually fight for marriages its a very powerful testimony that Becky and her dh are prepared to fight for it and that thru it they will get so much closer to each other.
