we don't have any special traditions, yet, cause we're such a new family. But, I am always ready to hear other people's traditions for ideas.
Actually, We did make the first part of a nativity scene last year. We made baby Jesus from a doll and will make another part each year while my kids grow up.

a place you wouldn't mind moving to: I'm like Kim. I grew up in Omaha and never want to leave. Plus, all of my side of the family lives here. I guess the only place I would go without throwing a temper tantrum would be to the east side of Iowa by my mil.

happiest childhood memory: Going boating every weekend during the summer with my parents and another couple who had a son my age.

how do you celebrate Christmas: We rotate staying here with my family and going to dh's mom's or brother's house every year. Right now the only real tradition we have is putting on a Christmas CD and decorating the tree together. Another thing we do is take the kids to store and let them pick out their own ornament. Then dh and I pick one out together. It's a great way to grow our Christmas decorations and when they get older they can look back at the ornaments and remember a certain Christmas.

how do you celebrate Christmas: Wake up whenever, prepare dinner, walk dog, start opening pressies at around 2 (takes about 2 hrs as there is 7 of us), relax until around 7 then get dinner done (ends around 1/2 8), then tv for a bit and games until very late. Boxing day is also celebrated as fun cheap presents put on a real tree (all fall off) and about 8 after dinner family and partners open then and laugh at how bad the gifts are. Really good laugh (if not taken seriously).
