Icon12 Contemporary or Traditional?

Is your home church more contemporary or traditional?

Ours is very contemporary... I love love love it! If you are from the IL area you may have heard of Willow Creek Church - we go to an off shoot from there. It is a wonderful family church and a great place to worship.

I went to a more conservative, traditional church as a kid and never quite felt at home.

What about you?

We're a little of both. We do chorus' and hymns. It's traditional in that we have an order to worship we always follow, etc but at the same time I consider it contemporary in that they have a greeting time and ppl generally seem relaxed and laid back and what you wear isn't a big issue.

Very traditional, we follow church service by the Bible literally. Which I like and primarily is the reason we attend it although we wouldn't have minded musical instruments during songs.

Contemporary. Very upbeat and different to anything else i have been too. Dont know how to discribe it. There is an outline of service but its not set in stone in anyway if the Holy Spirit decides to move.

God bless,

Matthew
