REMEMBER CHRISTMAS
The holly wreath is placed on the mantle,
the tree has been decoratively trimmed,
getting ready for Christmas...
The thought of long ago,on a cold lonely night
a king was born,one little star his only light.
Born on a manger of hay,the Blessed baby lay.
Look beyond the mistletoe,look beyond the presents
under the tree,look beyond the feast and the
gatherings of you and me.
Think of the reason why Christmas was born,
Think of the unselfishness of a tender baby king.
Think of the Angels on high,listen?can you
hear them sing?
So much has been forgotten about Christmas
and it's true meaning of love,
Gracefully anointed from the Lord above,
He gave us that first Christmas, A gift
that can never be bought with silver or with gold,
He offers us something that will never get old.
So as you awake from your Christmas slumber,
as you rejoice with your family,thats the perfect time
to remember,
The Giver of Good gifts is resting high above,
Streching out his arms once again,hugging us all
with His love.....
