Their is a certain member of my famliy that is having some problems and expects everyone else to pick up the pieces. Don't get me wrong I know that is what famliy is suposed do but, enough is enough.
When you spend all of your money on useless crap and then don't have any left to pay for your food and meds and expect your family to bail you out and they don't so cry and boohoo to everyone. This person sold some sentamental (sp) items of their spouses that has passed just 3 years ago to by a useless item instead of using the money to pay some of the many bills. That is not worst part. This person's kids did not now that these item had been sold until after the fact. Some of the things were very special to the kids and I think that this person is selfish to not consider that they would want their father's stuff.
I know that I sound like a cold heartless b**ch but I guess you just have to know the whole situation to fully understand and it is way too much to get into now. Anywho, the reason for this rant is that I am sick and tired of bailing this person out just because she thinks that she is entitled.
Her situation was brought on herself and from what I undertstand these habits have always been their even before I came in to the picture.
I am in no way going to let my kids go without in order to help someone that can't help themself because they are in the middle of a huge pity party blow every penny they get.

Sorry for the long rant and I don't expect any replies just needed to get this of my chest.

I can sympathize with you and it seems really unfair that this person seems to be taking advantage of the situation! Could you stop bailing her out? If everyone does this, she may need to change her ways..I wish you the best

At this point if no one bails her out then she will loose everything and have no where to live and I hate to say it but we don't want her to live w/ us. Right no it is a no win situation. No matter the result some one is going to get hurt (mentaly that is).

You are so nice to care for her and her family by helping her out. However, often times, the bailing out you do only makes her pity pot bigger and she'll slowly lose any motivation, or scarier yet, skills she may have to change. I highly recommend you say NO to her more than you think that you can.
