I am so irritated with idiots who speed through school zones! Today I reached my breaking point and just hogged both lanes on my side with my car and brought the speed down to about 18 MPH. She was so pissed off. I didn't care, I'd rather have the b*tch hit my car than the seven year olds that were walking down the street.

Don't these people know that even at 20 MPH you can still possibly KILL a child? Don't they even care? I saw all of these little tiny kids and just wanted to keep these people going as slow as I could. How can these people be such jerks?!?!?

I don't want to hear their excuses either. like the "I was going to be late for work"' just imagine how much later you'd be if you hit a little kid! I had to be at work an hour early today. I was 2 minutes late; I'd rather get chewed out; than have to live with hitting a child.

I was so flaming pissed I had to stop myself from getting out of my car at the next light. She was on my @ss so hard I could barely see her hood. And she stayed that way honking at me about a mile after the school zone.

All I ask is for respect for the school zones and the children they are meant to protect!

Heres something that happened to us two weeks ago: My son is blind. The school bus picks him up at our house. Anyway, it was 10 minutes early! So, we rushed to get his shoes on and out the door! It took a couple of minutes.

Anyway, a nieghbor yelled as my son was going to the bus (and he was passing the bus while it was stopped! ) that my son should be on time for the bus!

He would have been had the bus not been early! The nieghbor could've gone another direction to avoid the bus! I was so mad!
I felt like leaving a note on his truck explaining that my son is blind and it takes him a bit longer to get outside than those of us who are blessed with sight So he (the nieghbor) might want to go a different direction in the AM so as to avoid being inconvienced by a blind boy! but I restrained myself.

I know it's so sad I was passing a school this am , not my normal way of going but I forgot my sons diaper bag so I was turning around to go get it and there was one lane passing the school. Yes I was running late and I had two kids in the car my son was screamming and ppl were driving on the side of the road there was one lane but a$$ holes were speening by were there was not a lane!

That gets me too. People passing by buses while they are stopped with their stop sign out. Or people who will go out of where you are supposed to drive just because they are so important.

I have heard of too many kids being hit and killed in school zones and getting on or off buses. I was careful before and am 100 times more careful now since I had my daughter. It's one thing to be an @ss to an adult; quite another to be an @ss around kids in a way that could be deadly. Driving is a priviledge some people should lose because of the way they do it.

I saw a guy yelling at a cop after he passed a school bus illegally once. It was so funny to then see the guy in cuffs yelling about how he was going to be late.

We all have suffered through something with the kids in the car- but we all are caring of the kids outside of it too.

It gets on my nerves too. I have seen too many people ignore school bus stop lights. School buses have lights for a reason....because small children are not always paying attention to what is going on around them.

I have decided that if I can get a cars plate #, I am going to start to report them to the police. I've done it to people who have parked in handicap spaces(they get a nice little fine in the mail for that...I am sure the same would apply for school bus lights).
