Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can relate to this. I moved to a new area about a year ago and I work full-time. My husband and I are both once divorced and neither of us has ever had children. I have tried to find a new friend or two it seems like we are the only couple without kids. I am just looking for a friend to have coffee with and maybe an occasional girls nite out. aww thats sad do a search on google put in women social in city,state where you live if that don't work then put coffee/dining out in city ,state ,or book clubs if your into reading etc it is alot of option in the air or you can look around churches if your into church they have bible studies .

I think the best way to meet new people is to volunteer. There's all kinds of causes out there, and when you get involved in one you believe int, you find there's lots of like-minded people there to make friends with.

Ooh..I know this must be tough..I agree with volunteering!
You will meet people that way. Otherwise, pursue your interests whether they be arts and crafts, drawing etc..taking classes, you will meet people, otherwise at the gym if you like exercising..
Every outing is na opportunity to meet someone new!

It IS hard. I'm living in my commuinity many years but I always struggle to find omeone to do something fun with. Peple have many commitments, whether it be on the job, at home, or otherwise. Find some common ground, maybe that'd be best - book club or local gym.
