Hi i am new here. Just trying to find a place to chat... I am 33 years old. Husband left a year ago when baby was just one. After almost 6 mths , i started dating another guy, who i have now seen for 6 months. He is a wonderful guy, and i love him, but he is a widower (of only 12 mths) Now after last week having big plans of moving in together and whatever, he has broken off the relationship, saying he has just realised he is not ready for all this just yet. He says he still needs me as a friend, but thats it, right now.. I dont know whether this will lead to more in the future, i dont know if i am wasting my time.. I just need to hear some other peoples opinions!! I am feeling very lost right now ..............

I am so sorry that it didn't work out. Maybe since it hasn't been that long since he lost his wife he just got overwhelmed. Also, you say 12 months ago, were you moving in near the anniversary of her death, that may have also freaked him.
