Icon8 This election year... violence and property damage

I was at our local repub reps office last night (to get a ticket to see Rudy!) and overheard a little old lady. Her garage door was spray painted and her Bush/Cheney and Voinovich signs were destroyed. It isnt the first time this season around here that peoples personal property has been damaged either. ANd no dems, I know of Kerry supporters who's property has been damaged too; I think NO ONE should do it.

How ignorant do you have to be to spray paint someones garage door- just because they are voting for someone you don't support? How mental are you to destroy someones grass to burn into it your fav candidates name (that was done against a Kerry supporter)? It is not only illegal- it is flat out stupid!

It pisses me off that anyone would do something like that. The little old lady (she was one of those cute 80 year olds who reminds me of my grandma ) is now afraid that someone might go after her car; or worse; her.

If you believe in your candidate and believe someone is wrong in who they support... you certainly aren't going to change their mind by destroying their property. It is a voilation of their property and makes them feel unsafe in their homes.

I am sick of stupidity on either side! I guess that there are idiots on either side.

That is horrible. There is no excuse for such childish behavior on EITHER side.

I can't wait until this election is over!
