Hi! I'm new as well! I answered a couple questions and then realized I'd better at least introduce myself.
My name is Abbie. I'm 23. Husband Frank is 25. We have 2 kids: Cara is 8 weeks old, and Layla is a 2.5 year old Boston Terrier! lol She's like a little person though, and we love her like one.
I was/am very active on the Due In/Born in January 2008 board, which I found right about the time I learned we were expecting. I have always been very boring, by the book, go with the social norm "vanilla" type person. But since the birth of our daughter I have found myself drifting from that. I still shop at Old Navy (compulsively
), but our choices for Cara aren't as plain Jane.
We cloth diaper, breastfeed, co-sleep, co-shower her, and I baby-wear. As soon as my BabyHawk comes in the mail, DH will baby-wear too. He picked out a really manly print for himself. We are also carefully considering the pros and cons before vaxxing, not just going with what the doc says. And due to the political issues in schools here, and the bureaucracy, we will probably home school if I am able to be a SAHM by that time. I like sharing with friends that I have met on the January boards, and hope to get to know you all as well!
