Just thought I'd see how everyone's Valentine's went?

We had a fairly uneventful one as far as couple stuff went. I had Hayden on the 5th and we came home on the 8th so we were still getting settled in at home with our little guy. So even though we didn't really get to do much for it it was special all the same.

Let's see, the big news about our Valentine's Day? Rob proposed! It was sweet and he popped the question with breakfast in bed. The breakfast never got around to being eaten though, if I do say so myself. But it was awesome, he got up super early to surprise me because I had to be at work by 5 a.m. He left me some messages all day while I was at work, and we got some takeout to bring home for dinner seeing as I had no intentions of eating out with all the crazies, and we had the apartment to ourselves [we have 2 other roommates].

Ours was pretty quiet. DH was in the field from the day before so, he wasnt even here. My DD was my Valentine DH texted me though ....

V Day is nice but, we dont get all worked up about one single date, kwim?

Mine was nice. I got a nice gift card to get my hair done.. And I got some candy and a card from the kids..no big dinner or anything..
