This board is a little slow but maybe we can pep it up like we are trying to do with our sex drives Actually with being on birth control pills it makes my sex drive worse. I'm also on Lexapro and when I take that I cannot physically have an orgasm Now THAT really sucks!! I've got clinical depression so sex is the last thing on my mind. Congrats on the new baby (my name is Kara just spelled with a K instead of a C) Jump in and join us.
Clinical depression? I don't care how depressed you might be, it's what you do that makes you wild with desire. You need to expand your limits, like I do. Wanna know how?
Yep. That's what I was talking about. When we first got married I was on the Shot, and it completely did away with my sex drive. I guess it did it's job. You can't get pregnant if you never have sex.
And I took Lexapro. For a few weeks. At my return eval visit two weeks later (to see if it was working for me) I told the doctor it was making me think of driving my car off a bridge. So I didn't take that one anymore!
You should try talking to your prescribing doc and telling him/her the physical effects that it has on you. Maybe they could change you to another that would work better.
