and bake sales. I'm sorry, but I haven't heard of a kid's lemonade stand having results like this. 
John Edwards has once again proving himself a total dumbass and apparently he must be out of touch with America to not even know what the hell Ebay is. :

I know there are lots of ebay stores and some making hunderds of sales a day adding up to THOUSANDS of dollars that are flowing back and forth. Ebay is equal opportunity, where people make money based on the product they are selling and the reputation they have developed. There are people who make their living on ebay. Lots of people making a living on Ebay. Clearly John Edwards is not in touch with the little guy.

Indicators measure the nation's unemployment rate, consumer spending and other economic milestones, but Vice President Dick Cheney says it misses the hundreds of thousands who make money selling on eBay.
"That's a source that didn't even exist 10 years ago," Cheney told an audience in Cincinnati on Thursday. "Four hundred thousand people make some money trading on eBay."
John Edwards had a witty riposte: "If we only included bake sales and how much money kids make at lemonade stands, this economy would really be cooking," Edwards said in a statement.

Um, I don't get your point. Edwards DID equate Ebay with bake sales and lemonade stands. Ebay DOES generate a lot of money for many people.
By the way Marion, did you know that the unemployment rate today is the same as the unemployment rate was when Clinton was re-elected in 1996?

Don't bother reasoning with a troll Kari, especially giving statistics  . Fortunately, I've had it on ignore for a little while now and it sure has cut out a lot of  that would be on my screen.
It's obvious John Edwards doesn't know squat about ebay, which is a good thing. They sure would be tax happy if they knew how many people made their living. I really hope he doesn't become educated about ebay's sales because I really enjoy buying items tax free.

Yeah I am scratching my head on how Dicks valid point on the profits of ebay makes Edwards pitn have any vaildity what so ever.
I mean Edwards should have just pulled down his pants and mooned the reporters and he would have still looked more intelligent.
