YAY!!
I feel like standing and DANCING!! I stayed up ALL night long glued to coverage.
I'm just barely 21 and this was my first presidential election, and I'd been anxiously awaiting it since I was 4 (seriously). My granddaddy and my daddy had taught me politics (Republican, of course) from the time I can remember, and voting yesterday was something I'd spent my entire life waiting for. I voted for Bush. I don't care what anyone says, My vote counted. I filled out an exit poll and THAT counted as well. All these people who say that they don't vote because their votes don't count.. I mean- look at how close the popular vote was in some of these states? ACK. I'm on my soapbox. I'm going to go back to school to do something with all of this passion.
We told them. We kept telling them. Now we showed them. Popular AND Electoral win. I suppose ***'s just like to make a lot of noise.
