Am I mistaken, or aren't the Democrats the ones who say they're "free thinkers" and don't have "blinders" on? These are the same ones who often call Republicans "nazis" . Yes, free thinking is ok as long as you keep your damn mouth shut if you disagree. Way to go Carter. Zell Miller refuses to fall in line with your opinions and he's "disloyal". He's his own man, not a lap dog. If you need one of those, go see Kerry.
They were not complaining when...shoot who was the guy who became a domecrat after being elected as a republican creating a 50/50 split and ruined the republican majority? I can't think of his name.
Anyway I agree. Democrats are so quick to speak their mind, but as soon as they are opposed all hell breaks loose, and this sorta crap gets spewed.

Had to pop over since I'm from GA. They reprinted Carter's letter in the AJC and I didn't agree with it either and I'm a Dem. The disloyal part sat wrong with me. Now, do I think Zell's speech was horrible and hateful? Yes, definitely, but I didn't agree with most of Carter's summation either.
