BUSH GOES AFTER KERRY OVER 'MISSING EXPLOSIVES' ATTACK

Bush at rally in Pennsylvania:

"After repeatedly calling Iraq the wrong war, and a diversion, Senator Kerry this week seemed shocked to learn that Iraq is a dangerous place, full of dangerous weapons..."

"If Senator Kerry had his way... Saddam Hussein would still be in power. He would control those all of those weapons and explosives and could share them with his terrorist friends. Now the senator is making wild charges about missing explosives, when his top foreign policy adviser admits, quote, 'We do not know the facts.' Think about that: The senator is denigrating the actions of our troops and commanders in the field without knowing the facts..."

"Our military is now investigating a number of possible scenarios, including that the explosives may have been moved before our troops even arrived at the site. This investigation is important and it's ongoing. And a political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief."

Gee, I thought the only weapons they had were rocks. So, is Kerry in essence saying we should have gone in earlier before they were moved? Kerry seems awful quick to jump to any conclusion as long as it makes the troops or the US look bad.

I read that on Drudge's page. I can't get over how quickly he tries to jump on things before investigating them fully. Amazing! Not to mention, he's saying that our troops are basically not doing their job.

I agree with what President Bush said at the end, Nope, not me!

Even if you were on drugs and believed the story that the 380 tons of explosives were looted sometime after our occupation by 50-70 large trucks, let's do the math. We have destroyed over 400,000 tons of weapons and explosives. 380 tons of material represents 1/10 of 1% of the total materials that we have destroyed. It's a drop in the bucket.

Of course the real story here is that if Kerry is so concerned about 1/10 of 1% of the weapons, it is a back door admission that we absolutely needed to invade in the first place. The people that believe Kerry on this story are using less than 1/10th of 1% of their brains and if he gets elected, they will be getting what they deserve.

I heard this on the radio this morning. Can you imagine having Kerry in office and him jumping to conclusions like that every time he flips around??? I could see him getting us in a few more conflicts before he changes his mind that we shouldn't have gotten into it.

I say if it is fair to specilate about missing explosives, why isn't it fair to question wissing WMD's?
