I read this article online this weekend about why they chose him:

A couple of quotes almost made me laugh; especially the reasons they chose him
"Many, many Americans deeply wish he had not won," Kelly said. "And yet he did."
"....for reframing reality to match his design, for gambling his fortunes — and ours — on his faith in the power of leadership."
Reframing reality??!?!?!! Maybe this is supposed to inspire awe or maybe I'm interpreting this wrong, but that doesn't seem like an admirable trait to me.
