Rumsfeld gets put on the spot

I have a cousin in the National Guard who is very frustrated about this (armour, extended stays, etc.), it's good to see soldiers putting the higher ups on the spot and showing the public that they're not all gung-ho about this war.

My brother is in Iraq and has written to us about his frustration with this as well, I am glad that you shared the story, and that at least they did get a voice in the matter, even though it will probably be disregarded by our "wonderful" president and co.

I heard about this yesterday.... I love it that he was put on the spot. Sorry, but his answer was LAME. How much do you want to bet he won't be taking anymore questions from now on? (Sort of like how GeeDubya doesn't give press conferences!)

Rachel, I was just telling my dh 'Betcha that's the last time Rumsfeld takes any questions from the soldiers!' . I'm glad one of the soldiers had the guts to say something because you know all those soldiers were thinking the same thing!
