Do you know when they start counting them? I keep hearing that they are encouraging people to vote early, but I always thought they didn't count them til the day of election.

Good question. I don't know the answer, though. I think they want people to vote absentee and to take advantage of early voting just to avoid people not voting due to long lines and other logistical issues, but I really don't know.

I got an email from the HRC and they were encouraging absentee voting saying that you could "bank" your votes. They said that the candidates knew what the results from the absentee votes were before Election Day. There's a link to their site in my siggy (the yellow = ).
