To igonre all of the awful things he has done. I hear time and again people bashing Kerry for his voting record. How about giving Bush some credit where credit is due. He took us into a war where we had no place being. He has ruined our economy. Yet all the mindless drones walk around going "Bush is great, remember 9/11." How can these people not see the evil Bush represents? I am not concerned about Kerry's voting record, I am concerned about what is going to happen to my family over the next 4 years if Bush is reelected!
I am surprised anyone is paying attention to what they are saying about his voting record Of course when you are in congress for 30 years you will take different positions on things based on the specific cirumstances and what our country is going through at the time. Also, many bills have other totally different issues in them which would make someone vote against them even if they agreed with 99% of everything else in the bill.

UGh... I can tell you why. Because Bush has *conviction* and because Bush is a *Christian*. Sorry, but conviction does not mean that you are right, it more often means you are bull-headed. Not admitting to your own mistakes is one of the worst things you can do. Being against abortion and believing that you are the chosen one does not make you a christian! Let's talk about the lives he is throwing away by waging this totally fruitless war in Iraq. I don't think that's very Christian.
Then there are the people who's lives have not changed, and who know nobody in Iraq, and aren't very educated. I don't mean schooled-educated, I mean educated on the issues. They don't know any better.
As far as Kerry's voting record, who cares? EVERY senator has missed a few. Let's talk about Bush's LACK OF political history before his presidency...and then while we're at it, let's talk about the kind of person he was before he was *Saved*.
Whew...ok, I'm a little on edge; I am really REALLY scared that he will get re-elected. The damage he's done is reversible if he's not voted back in, but I fear another four years and my childs generation will still be trying to recoup from his presidency.
I couldn't agree with you guys more! Just the THOUGHT is starting to scare me! I too have wondered what they see in him? What is so great? Cheney said if we vote Bush we will be voting for a safe america, and a leader whom we can trust! I couldn't disagree with that more.
I constantly think about this. I just don't understand it at all. My best friend is a huge Republican/Bushie. She practically worships the ground he walks on. Why? Because she is a born-again. To her, it is perfectly OKAY for someone to be Chief Executive and push his morals onto everyone else, in fact, that is what she wants.
It really is frustrating, and I just hope and pray that W is not re-elected not only for the sake of our country, but for the world.

Ladies, I couldn't agree more. I am terrified that Bush may be re-elected for another term. Kerry has brought religion into his campaign, but hasn't pushed it on anyone. I can't see how any person would want a president who makes decisions based on religious convictions rather than common sense. But that's what born-agains are like, in my opinion-- they push their views on to others and won't open their minds to other views. WE DON'T NEED A PERSON LIKE THIS LEADING OUR COUNTRY.

I look at all these people in my state (WV) who support Bush for no other reason than he is against abortion and gay mariage, and I just get really frightened.
I wonder how all the "christian" bushies would feel if we had a Jewish, or Muslim, or even Atheist president who tried to force his or her religion on THEM?
It's chilling, isn't it? I just hope enough voters feel like we do, so that we don't have to worry about this. Bush for four more years would seriously damage America.
