Hi! I used to post here quite a bit, but then with election dejection and a futzed-up internet connection I stopped for awhile. Anyway, I'd like to come around more, and gather strength to fight the good fight with like-minded women.

As an introduction, my name is Adrienne. I'm 34 and I have two sons, Miles who is two and a half, and Finn who just turned one. We live in Tirana, Albania, due to my husband's job as the administrative officer for the Peace Corps program. I love living here.

I am originally from Washington DC, but my parents were international development workers, so I grew up overseas (in Africa). I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal from 1992 through 1994.

I am a yellow-dog Democrat and simply can't conceive of someone being anything else. Huh. I guess I'm stubborn that way.
