I just read an AP story on the moron in the White House and Stem Cell research. He says something along the lines that we can't use public funds to research something that will take a life in order to save a life. (loose quote) WTF?!!! This makes me so angry. What the H*ll does he think the Iraq war is? Uh, aren't we using public funds to fight for a war with no justification and no end in sight?

I am getting to the point I can't read this stuff anymore. I just get so upset and so angry over it. GGRRRRRRR

I am right there with you....

Apparently there is wide bi-partisan support in congress for legislation that would allow public funding to be used on embryos that are left over from IVF and would otherwise be discarded. Bush is still against this. These embryos would be discarded anyway, so why not put them to use?? How the embicile can maintain his rigid position is beyond me!

You know, he just drives me nuts. There is no reason not to do this. This is his way of showing how totally against pro-choice he is . . . and it is dumb. There is a Senator in California that just got through with IVF, and he said that he would like their embryos to be used for research. I believe he was previously against doing the research too. I mean, come on, even Orrin Hatch - one of the most conservative idiots out there - supports it.

I did hear Orrin Hatch is for this.

What makes mad is that he is against this, but its okay to go to war against another country and kill people. It doesn't make sense.

I swear his brain must be the size of an m&m. LOL

See, I don't get that either. How can you be pro-life AND pro-war?? I mean seriously, lets MAKE the babies come into the world and into a family that can't/won't support them and live a life of poverty, and then let's go to ANOTHER country and make a bunch of orphans there too!!

I agree with you all... Bush is just a total idiot and I think we are going to see alot of things happen this term that doesnt make much sense and that is going to make this country go in the wrong direction.

He truly is a moronic hillbilly! Honestly! I understand his pro-life view as I share the same view BUT I say, women will do it anyways so why don't we turn such an awful tragedy into something that is so positive and uplifting! He just wants to cram his "Christian" views down everyone's throat -- whatever happened to freedom of religion anyway?!
