I don't think I can stomach it. I think I may just get the transcript tomorrow. Because if I have to watch him smirk and act all "mandate-y" I'll puke.

It would be a cold day in...well, lets just say NO! I can't stand the sight of Bush. I figure I will let John Stewart recap it for me. I am looking forward to SNL this week, I bet they will add a good twist. I agree, I am glad it did not preempt Idol!

I've actually never watched more than a few minutes of any State of the union address. I think it's all a bunch of posturing and bull$hit. I never even watched Clintons' addresses. There is not a barf bag on the planet big enough for me to watch the one last night.

I hear that there was actually a list of people that Bush's handlers made sure certain people with different grassroots movements not in line with the Bush regime were kept out (that also happened here locally when Dick Cheney basically did a flyover and stopped at our airport for two hours during the campaign--I got to help foot the bill for his visit but they were asking people in line for tickets if they were Republicans and only giving tickets to those people). It makes me sick but I'm not surprised.

But getting back to the question--no, I didn't watch it. Just the sound of his voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me, and I would have hurled if I'd watched thank ink finger publicity stunt live. Hearing about it was enough to make me gag.
