Default Electronic Gifts

I am just throwing out this warning to all parents who are buying eletronics for their children. Last Christmas i bought my kids a video game for their present. I knew i had to get batteries for the game so i went to the local store and started priceing batteries like i alway do at the store on everything. I decided to buy the cheapest ones i could get my hands on. "Heavy Duty" Batteries seemed like a good battery. I fell for the advertiseing and those batteries did not last but 2 days of my kids playing the game! So i went back to the store and paid the extra cash for the alkaline batteries those lasted almost 2 weeks. I thought about it if the Heavy Duty batteries were 1/2 the price of alkaline batteries i woudl have spent twice as much by replaceing heavy duty with the same thing. So for the love of your kids dont get the cheap batteries! It will save you money to buy Alkaline Batteries!

Amen to that. I went through a ton of heavy duty batteries on my kid's toys. I spent a fortune on them and it felt like I was changing them once a week. I guess thats what I get for being thrifty. Turns out I spent more than double the amount on heavy duty batteries than I would have spent in the first place with alkaline batteries. Never again will I use heavy duty batteries.

Amen to that, I haven't used heavy duties in about a decade since I've learned all the benefits of alkalines. They last about 4 times longer when in use and if you're like me and stock up on batteries they will last longer sitting around while not in use as well.
