Default Need to make butterflies/flowers

I want to start Sadie's big girl room and have been looking at Pottery Barn online for ideas. I love their bedding but it is soooo expensive.
I saw some butterflies hanging from the ceiling and would like to make something like that.
I want her room to be pink or purple butterfly/flower theme.
Does anyone have any ideas how to make butterflies or where i can get ideas for her bedrooms.
Thanks

Ohhh I did my daughter's room in butterflies and bugs, as she is getting older more and more princesses are coming along lol. But it's still mostly butterflies. I found some gorgeous butterflies made out of a tulle material at the dollar store. I hung them above her bed and they look like they are flying over it.

I also got dragonfly outdoor lights at IKEA I strung them in one corner of her room and it acts as her night light. I will take some pictures if you would like

I put a white picket fence (I just made it with wood and had it cut to size) along her back wall by the window. I strung flowers throughout it and then painted some dragonflies, bumble bees and butterflies along the wall.

I love butterfly designs. This year (2008) they seem to be more plentiful than ever.

Did you craft items yourself for this room you talked about? If so that's great.

These patterns can help with those of us who do not have the gift to draw freehand but just want the butterfly design. Butterflies are so beautiful anyway. Hope you all enjoy.

I just love the emoticons here. They're so happy looking.

If you know how to crochet, you could crochet some, starch them, and then hang from ceiling.
Here's some links to crochet patterns of butterflies:
