Default Halloween costumes, anyone making them?

Share your ideas for homemade halloween costumes. Is there a good pattern to recommend if you're sewing your own?

I'm making one for myself and my husband this year here is the one I'm doing for myself:

Butterick - B4571 - MISSES' COSTUME - 4571

I'm making it in the same colors (because they are my absolute favorite) and the same fabric as pictured. That fabric is so slippery I'm finding it hard to work with. I don't sew from patterns very often but it looks easy enough otherwise. I just hope it fits in the end. My measurements are for a size 12 but I'm more a size 8 right now but I'm still making it for my measurements so I hope I don't run into any problems.

Please share what you're working on whether your sewing, glueing, or painting costumes or anything else in between. Or share what you've done in the past to give others ideas

I finished this dress and it really turned out great! Even with how awful stretchy that fabric was. Now I'm working on this for my husband:

Design Viewer

I did the doublet on the right in a green/burgandy brocade. The doublet is finished as of tonight and I just need to do the hat, shirt and pants.

It's nice to do something other than a quilt.

I feel my sewing level for apparel is advanced beginner btw
