Those are super cute!!!

Shauna26 - just wanted to tell you something that I do with my bows when I use something like your ladybugs. I don't use the crafting notions that you have to glue on b/c they could fall off if the child plays with them. I use buttons or notions that have a loop on the back where I can sew them on. Just a thought!

Hey there Thanks for the tip. I normally do sew them on, the ladybugs are for one of my dd's outfits and I didn't have any with the loops on hand so I just glued them on hers. Generally though I buy the ones in the button section and sew them in

I love the bows I have made tons but Emily doesn't like to leave them in her hair...LOL you have to sneak them in and hope she doesn't see them in the mirror...LOL

Just lurking ladies, I have been making bows since I found out I was having a girl, but nothing elaborate like some of yours, just little ones.

Thanks for showing off yours...
Here are really simple ones I have made, I hope she has hair!

I store them on one of those ribbon message boards in her closet. Love the headband idea... very cute!

Hi ladies,
Mind if I join your conversation? I have been trying to make my dd some bows, but they're just not turning out very well...I would LOVE any tips/instructions you are willing to share...I've been trying to make "stacked" bows, following instructions from a website, but I must be a complete doof b/c I can't seem to wrap the wire tight enough without making a mess of the whole thing. I would love to know how y'all make the stacked ones or any of the other styles...my dd is 4 but has very thin hair, so I still do the clippy kind (not the barrette type).
Thanks!!! BTW, all of your girls are BEAUTIFUL! I need to get some pix of my dd on my siggy!

I thought I'd have 2 children--or 3--or 4...in any case, I thought I'd have more. But the plans that I had didn't match His plans for me. It's all for the best, as I'm starting to see. My one precious child that I hold in my arms, keeps me smiling and laughing with all of her charms. She's smart, and she's sweet, she's my loving "nuggie bug," and whenever I need her, she's there with a hug. So here I am, raising one perfect little girl. To me and her daddy, she means all of the world. I guess I actually did get my way, because I've got 3 other children I'll meet in Heaven one day. So until then, I'll cherish the one here on earth, and know that I'm being watched over by those to whom I never gave birth.
