Default Hairbows anyone?

Hey there,

Just wondering if anyone else makes hairbows. I have recently started and am having so much fun. I sell a bit locally and half of the money I raise goes to the Meningitis Foundation of Canada.

Thought I would see if anyone would like to share ideas or tips. So far I make Pinwheel bows, korker bows and loopy bows.

I do mostly korker bows, but have started doing loopy bows and toying around a bit.

Here is a valentines set I did

Here is a set I did to match a Gymboree line (excuse the scrape, my dd is a klutz)

and here are the Loopy bows, I'm only just learning to make them so they aren't great.

awww thanks I had fun making them.

I actually taught myself, I saw some at Gymboree and didn't want to spend the amount they charged So I bought one set then sat down and played around until I figured it out.

Here's a set I made today and a few others I've done over the last few days. I've been thinking about trying to sell them, but not sure if they are good enough. Oh well at least my daughter is well stocked in bows lol. If you want some tips or help in making them I would be more than happy to share

Shauna ... they are TOTALLY good enough to sell ... I would put some up on ebay or go to a local craft fair ... after I saw your post today I started looking into making them ... I am totally going to try this and I may need your advice ... I am just dying for Skye to have hair ... I guess I could start out and make some for my niece ... that way by the time Skye has hair I will be better at them ... yours are just sooooooooooooo cute!!!

Thanks again Liz, I've had fun making them. I've had a few diasters, but in general it's pretty easy. I can't wait to see pictures of yours Tianna was bald until she was 18 months or so. I was so glad when she got hair lol.

tadamom I would love to see pictures of your bows. I might pick your brains too if it's okay. I'm trying to make pinwheel bows and tuxedo bows but I suck
