i do alot of garment sewing and in the past did so much quilting! i really want to get back into doing some quilting, but need some motivation to actually start. it seems like i always have so many clothing projects going that i just cant start a quilt.

anyway, just wondering if there is anyone out here since this forum seems so dead!

I do some garment sewing. Right now I am working on outfits for my DS, DD and Dniece for Disney World. I have one outfit down and lots more to go - we leave in 52 days and I hope/pray I have them all done!!!

I like to quilt but like you, need some motivation. I haven't really done much sewing since last summer. My DS is in kindergarten and only goes to school 1/2 day, so it seems like I'm always on the go, picking kids up at school. I'm hoping to do a little sewing over the spring & summer break.

I will get back into sewing soon, hopefully I can convince my DD that the sewing machine isn't a toy.

I've been thinking about getting back into quilting as well. I recently ran across an old website I had up, that has a quilt gallery on it - with some of my creations. I was surprised to see it still up - and can't access it to update it, because my email has changed:

I've been doing a lot of knitting and crochet, but it is beginning to bother my arm - so perhaps I will set that aside and get out the sewing machine. I have several boxes of quilt fabric waiting for me to get to them!
