I have a Mini Long Haired Dachshund Named Dolly. She is 2 years old and the light of my days. She gives me so much companionship and love. She was born on Jan 22, 2006 the same day I had total right hip replacement done which was a life altering surgery for me and I consider that day a wonderful day because not only did I get that great surgery done so I was no longer in pain but my best friend was born! What kind of pet do you have? How has it changed your life?

We adopted one that was going to be put to sleep or taken to the humane society. But we had to give him away because he was peeing on EVERYTHING! He was very very sweet and I miss already. We took him to my husbands aunt who is a dog trainer and she had told us good luck with him because he was already a yr old and was used to peeing on whatever whenever because the people who had him before us did not train him. I gave him away and it was very sad!!! I think we are going to look into getting another dachsund as a puppy to train him. If not a dachsund maybe another small kind of dog.
