What's for dinner: Monday
This is a discussion on What's for dinner: Monday within the Chit Chat forums, part of the Everyday Life category; Why didn't anyone tell me I skipped this today?! What did you have for dinner? We had chicken fricassee....
I don't know, that's the problem. It's some cajun recipe and that's really the extent of my knowledge. Chicken Fricassee - Allrecipes I'm not sure if this is how DH makes it, I know he also puts olives into it, but there's one recipe.
Ahh.. I see. I just didn't know if it was chicken was some kinda cheese on top.. or with spinach leaves... or whatever, ya know?! Looks interesting tho.. is it spicy?
It probably can be spicy, not when DH makes it. I guess you could say his recipe is a little sweet? I would probably like it a little more if it was spicy. I usually just grab the chicken, and scrape everything else off anyways. But DH loves it.
I don't like really spicy foods normally, but right now spicy is just so, so, so good! But I just like plain old chicken. Unless it's doused in BBQ sauce, which is even better. Oh, and breaded too!
Yeah I love plain grilled chicken. That's probably my favorite way to eat it. I like it breaded too... I just hate how it's so not healthy that way. Yum.. I love chicken nuggets too.
I could care less if breaded chicken is healthy or not, it's pretty much divine! I'm not really a fan of chicken nuggets though. Hey, you're making me hungry.
I should probably start to pay more attention to what I eat before it comes back to bite me in the ***. I can still get away with it now, but that wont always be the case.
Good point. I don't want to get our child into unhealthy eating habits. Does it help that you have him to look out for too? I have made progress though. I cute sodas out for Lent, and haven't gone back since which is progress, right?
