Well it turns out that last spring we may have had H1N1

but there is no way to find out for sure .

My boy ended up sick with a ear infection, fever and then his ear got better .

Two weeks later chills, very high fever and a double ear infection . He even had some puking with diherea .

He got better within a few wks but had the diherea side effect from the antibiotic which made him not control his bm to well .

So anyways then a few wks after that my mom ended up sick as in really sick than she had ever been but exposed much family members to it because it was around the time that my grandpa passed away .

So then after she was sick and got better . I got sick which was not as bad as she was sick but went to the ER around the easter time .

It turned out that I was diagnosed with influenza but they never told me the type I had so I called yesterday to ask what type of influenza I had in April and they said it was Type A .

So I asked could it have been H1N1 and she said it could have been more likely H1N1 because H1N1 is a Type A influenza .

So there is more likely that since I got sick after my son and mom that it is more likely they had H1N1 also but they never had the influenza swab .

I had the influenza swab because I don't get the shot and brendan didn't either but I bet they assumed he did because he is a kid so hence the reason why he didn't get the swab.
