I have a couple used infant carrier/car seats. I know they have never been in an accident.

They are only a three point harness. We have one five point but I HATE it. Is it still legal for me to use the three point?

Hmm...that's an interesting question. I'm not sure whether the 3-point harness is legal or not, but I would recommend using the 5-point harness. I would think that maybe there's a valid reason that they don't make 3-point harnesses anymore. I think it's more a matter of safety than legality.

Maybe what you should do a little research on the Internet about both types and then make your decision from there.
