Default Holiday Food

What do you eat for Christmas? turkey or ham or ??

Since DH doesn't eat red meat or pork sometimes we do a small ham and a turkey for Christmas. Since the last 2-3x Christmas' it's been at our house I've just done a Turkey. This year we're hoping to switch it up and we'll host Thanksgiving and my parent's can host Christmas.

Christmas ... It was ham last year if I do remember correctly. But I have no say over the matter because I don't do the cooking. Althought aparantly everyone wants to come here for Christmas this year which would mean I would be doing the cooking. That really doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

What about decor and place settings?

I usually do place cards for everyone. I just to make them. Just found this on MS' site.

It looks really good for Thanksgiving and might use the idea. For Christmas last year I hung white Christmas ornaments from white ribbons from our light fixture that's over our table. Not sure if I have any photos of it but it was really neat.. like snow.
