Re: Gas Prices
I heard on CNBC this morning that oil buy the barrel is up to $111 a barrel. Surely this means that gas prices will continue to climb -especially as summer nears. THey product maybe gas at $5.00 a gallon. That is just horrible.

Re: Gas Prices
It's nothing new that gas prices will rise during the summer, but this is out of hand and it makes me sick. I'll take a look what prices are today on my way to work. I know on Friday it was $3.62 for regular unleaded at most places here.

Re: Gas Prices
It is the price I pay for living in California right now. I forgot to take a look today, I think I have a major case of tunnel vision.

Re: Gas Prices
I can't wait for the day we can get things back on track in this country, and I can't wait for the day George Bush is out of office. But that's a topic for another day. But I doubt we'll ever get back to the gas prices of the good old days.

I paid $3.03 for gas today.. but that's only because I used my shoppers card and saved 10 cents a gallon.

Re: Gas Prices
3.31 is the lowest price I've seen around here but 3.39 is what I see most for regular. It's cary between the prices of groceries and gas.

Re: Gas Prices
I am praying gas will go down by summer. We do a lot of camping with our RV and hauling that around with Mike's Dodge truck will be expensive.

Re: Gas Prices
At least we wont be driving 2 cars this summer. There's a slight plus. But they usually tend to only rise during the summers, don't they?

Re: Gas Prices
Yeah they do. I just wrote something on the other gas price thread on the 20 something parents board.
I guess is just something we have to live with...hopefully something will be done about it FAST!

Re: Gas Prices
Gas is $3.26 a gallon here if you go to BJ's and use your member card. I think it is close to $3.39 a gallon at the least expensive station near us. We always go to BJ's. Another perk of having a membership there is the gas station they have. The president did not know the price of a gallon of gas when he was asked on TV. When told, he said he didn't think that was so bad! Not if your a rich fat cat oil man it's not! We aren't all rich like you, Mr President!

Re: Gas Prices
Unfortunately it is something that we have to live with until something can be done about it, but doesn't it make you slap your forehead when you remember what it used to be and the first times you saw it going up? And of course the problem is they expect us to be so grateful when it goes down closer to $3.00 which is still a joke compared to what the prices used to be.
