Most everything I sell is stuff I bought that I am now trying to get rid of I will occassionally pick something up at garage sale if I know it will sell well.
Some things I have around the home. Some things I buy with the intent to sell. I have gone to a couple really cheap warehouse sales and bought items for close to pennies which I knew would sell for dollars.
mostly from my own ebay addiction , garage sales (rarely), thrift stores if good quality/no stains, mostly Ross and Marshalls or other clearance racks. You have to have a couple of niches and just know what to look for - mine are gymboree and boy scout items. I'm always finding, selling, trading, buying.
You will laugh at this addition to my answer above: the local dumpster! HONEST! I found 173 unused Dew U points (for the current Mountain Dew promotion), put them up on ebay in smaller quantities. 3 of the 4 auctions had BIN and sold quite quickly. The 4th someone bid on, so waiting for the auction to end. Not bad for a 5 min stop at the recycling dumpster!
I sell high end boutique baby clothes and get them from websites that are having big sales or local kids boutiques in my area. And then I sell the stuff Syd outgrows. My mom just started making custom kids clothes and I'm sellingthose for her and she's making BIG bucks!
