Buy a postage scale. There are some good deals on ebay or office stores have them. Digital is the best.

You can buy postage from the usps website (priority only) or you can purchase it through paypal. Paypal doesn't charge a fee if you do priority but for all other types of mail it's 20 cents. I like the adhesive labels you put through your printer so you don't have to waste time taping regular paper to your package. If you do a very large quantity of shipping, there are services like stamps.com that has a monthly fee...I think they give you a free postage meter if you sign up with them though!

What I do is send everything Priority, you get the supplies free from the PO and you can order them online. Most items are less than a pound and fit in the bags or boxes they give you. You do it right from paypal if its an ebay auction, if not you can go to www.usps.com and do it as well. You can get a cheap scale from Office Depot too. Its so easy, I never go to the PO unless its international.

The thing I love about paypal is you can print it on plain white paper ande then all you have to do is cut it and tape it to the package, so easy and with priority you get free Delivery Confirmation.

I've always wondered about this and done it the hard way. This thread has been very helpful to me, a newbie!!!

Now I know how to do it much more conveniently for me, considering I have 2 squirts to lug around with me everywhere I go. Now we don't have to wait in line!

THANKS!!
