Default Skin

Ok, I have lost 43 lbs in the last 7 months and I have loose skin. Its not a TON, but its a good bit. I guess what im wondering, is if any of you ladies had the same problem but have had it go away. How long did it take? Did it ever go away?

The only loose skin I had after losing weight was around my thighs--I think eventually it tightened up some(I was walking daily) but it did take awhile. It all depends on the elasticity of your skin to begin with. Mine must be fairly good...cause my tummy can go pretty flat, with barely no (excess) skin...or even stretch marks. My tummy is all fat right now though--BAH!!!!!

I'm in a size 4 pants and have very loose skin...lots of stretch marks... my skin doesn't bounce back as quickly...always had dry skin plus I'm reaching 40 so the elasticity just isn't there. You can't really spot train...I've been told over and over that I need to do more cardio which I do... but it doesn't change much in my ab area. I know... not helpful...but it's like Tanya said, it pretty much depends on the elasticity of your skin (I think age is a big contributor too...as well, as your weight patterns in the past). With me... I think a large part of it (no pun intended) was that I've always been heavy during adolescense so my skin lost it's elasticity way back then... when it was stretched beyond control and there's just too much now. If I had money, I'd get a tummy tuck. It's the area I hate the most!! Sorry not helpful...

I have alot of loose skin around my stomache area. It is horrible and makes me feel real uncomfortable. I talked to a trainer at the gym and I can get some of it gone but the rest would require surgery (which I am getting in the future). Just keep working on it! Also, spanx works GREAT underneath your clothes!
