Hello. My name is Colleen. I recently joined the SK Baby Club Board, and had asked about weight loss and someone suggested I explore the site. I had no idea this board existed! I'm so excited. This whole weight loss thing is new to me. I never really worried about it before, but I'm no longer happy with my body. I hope you can help me, and maybe explain to me what exactly to do here....

Welcome!!! Always glad to have more people here!

I was like you. Didnt have any problem with weight til I had children.

As for what to do... time to figure out how you want to lose weight Healthy eating, watch your portions, exercise.

Hi Colleen! Welcome!

I've always had weight problems, having a baby didn't change much for me in that sense.
Like Dulcie said, healthy eating, portion control and exercise are the most important keys and drink lots of water too!

Try not to stress too much, you've just had a baby in January (congratulations!) and it takes about a year for a woman's body to become her own again after pregnancy, so give yourself a break - we can't all be Victoria Beckham (not that I'd want to now - she's turned into a freak). Just concentrate on eating healthy and while your babe is so little take advantage to go out for loooong walks in the neighborhood in order to get moving gently.

Oh, and post, post, post!

Hey Colleen,
WOW congrats on your baby!! That's great. I'm Kara and mom to 2 kiddos so far...5 and 3 year old girls. I started Weight watchers 7 weeks ago. This board is great so jump in and ask questions. We'd love to answer them.

Kara
