I found you! Actually I've still been here...but not coming to this site at all anymore...I am on Facebook EVERYDAY...lol.

I miss you girls!!!!!

I joined a gym in January and have lost nearly two sizes, and many inches...pounds are slow to come off this time around...but at least I am not obsessed with the scale anymore.

Little one is nearly two...all kids keep me busy Go to Facebook and add me...last name Beveridge ;-) Hope to "see you" soon!!!! (you know who you are..lol)

(and I know my siggy is a million years old..but I cannot remember how to fix it..lol)

Hey Tanya!! How are things going? I will be finished with school next Monday, so I plan on coming here more regularly. I am trying to make it through the rest of the year and then I can think about other things.

Glad you found the board again. Hope you stick around, I'll write more later.

Nice to see your name on the board!! I haven't even been lurking lately... just skipped my workout this morning so I had extra time. I know, I know...bad! I just didn't feel like it!

Sounds like you're doing great! Two dress sizes since January is impressive and you sound very happy!! That's the most important part! I only have one kid and she keeps me busy, I can't imagine three!!

For the most part I'm doing alright...working out and staying away from sweets is still and will always be an issue with me. Once I lose my momentum (keeping to one and giving up the other), I just get right back in a rut... a recent trip to the doctor has given me a reason for the sweets...I'm still having problems sleeping and she contributed it to having a lot of "stimulants" like caffeine (chocolate, oreos) and sugar (um...chocolate, oreos). So my plan is to wean off caffeine and sugar or at least limit it to smaller doses. If that's not it, the next step is a sleep specialist...it's really affecting my mood and ability so something needs to be done.

The scale is also still in my life... we have a love/hate relationship but I can't seem to let it go...

Anyway... never been on Facebook... not even sure what it takes to get in... seems to be the biggest thing though so I'll look into it!

In the meantime, Good Luck with your new healthy lifestyle! Hope you pop in every once in a while to say hello!!

I'm taking an accelerated Philosophy class until the end of June...then things should slow down for me in the summer and I'll try to post more often as well!! I need to get myself back into a routine! I'm still carrying around the weight I gained at Christmas time!! I will try to check in during June whenever I can!!

We can do it!!

Great job on the weightloss Tanya! You sound happy and healthy. I'm glad to hear you are doing well.

Kellie, congratulations on your school work. I hope you enjoy your time off!

Hi Maria! Good luck with your classes. I understand your love of sweets. Maybe I can get rid of them as well.

It seems like a little reunion. I miss you guys.

My update (sorry Tanya I haven't gotten into Facebook yet), I was working out a bunch all summer and during the fall right up to the end of January. I lost about 25 pounds which I attribute to medication. I didn't start losing until I started the meds even though I was walking for 1.5-3 hours a day all summer and then added weightlifting in the fall. Then I got really busy with personal stuff and quit going to the gym regularly. I was averaging about 1x a week all spring. I just finished up with girls camp that I do every summer for a week with teenage girls from church and I finally feel like I have time for myself. My body has gotten used the medication and I've put back on about 15 of the pounds I'd lost. My eating hasn't helped, I have a tremendous sweet tooth and it has been especially bad lately. Plus, I haven't been to the gym because I have been so busy. I need to find the motivation to get working on myself again. I need a goal besides weightloss. I guess I'll look into that!

Glad to hear from you guys again! Hope you are enjoying some sunshine this summer!
