Default Happy 4th Friday!!

Happy 4th of July friends!! It is a kinda weird 4th today. It has been raining for the last week or so and today it is supposed to rain again and it is pretty overcast. I am not in the partying mood. We usually have a big bash, but no one is around and I really didn't feel like having a party. Plus, tomorrow is my 39th birthday. I am kinda taking it hard. I don't know why. I guess it is my last year in my 30's.

Oh well.....
Goals:
*Water
*Laundry
*Watch portion control
*Hopefully get in some exercise

Happy 4th.

Ok 12 views and no post, come on ladies come out and join us.

Today, the eating was ok. No water, but we did do 2 miles at the park with the dogs. It was nice to get them out.

Happy 4th of July!!! Well, today was kind of a bust for me too. But, it was great! Ds was on his first sleepover so I got to sleep in! Dh made me breakfast in bed. It was eggs, bacon, grits and a Mountain Dew (I needed the help waking up!) LOL Love him!!!

My friend asked me to go through McDonalds drive-up to grab her a soda on my way to her house to pick up my son. I haven't had fast-food in sooo long. All I could think about were fries!!! But, I resisted and just got her soda.

Dinner was bbq pork ribs with corn on the cob and salad. Yummm Then we had a bunch of friends and neighbors over for fireworks which was really fun, but included some snackies that added calories to my day.

I think I drank about 12 oz of water today and no exercise. Wow, it has been about a week since I exercised! That will be priority tomorrow.

Hope you have a super great birthday Kellie!!! 39 is still waaaay young! Enjoy yourself!!

Happy 4th everyone! And Happy Birthday Kellie!I'll be 41 in just a week or so, if that makes you feel any better! Honey, it's a triumph just to be alive and kicking some booty. Be proud of the person you are and of the life you lead.

It's funny, I don't feel 41 or 40 for that matter. I mean, I see some people that are like 35 and they look like my grandma, KWIM? My mom had this big hangup about the number and joked for years that she was 29, except my youngest bro, who has a form of autism, kept reminding her of her exact birth date, lol!

I'm now on day 2 (it's Saturday here) of the diet, so far, so good.
One thing is sure, since I have to drink lots of water, I am really packing it in, so that's good too.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Thanks Susan!! Most days I still feel very young and then I look in the mirror and wonder what happened. It is so strange to be almost 40 knowing that I was in college when my parents were 40. My parents seemed so old to me then and now here I am the same age. Crazy. But I guess it is what we make of it and I need to be positive.
