Hi everyone

Well I'm back to feeling like crap again No fever but nose now draining like a faucet, coughing, coughing up garbage, stuffy feeling, and now add on to it a cold in my eye. After work yesterday morning I stopped to get Ava's little friend Mason a birthday present, picked up kids from Grandma's, stopped home really quick to get gift bag to put present in and card I already had, and took kids to birthday party, came home and slept a bit and when I woke up my left eye was all swollen My hubby was laughing at me as it looks ridiculous. Anybody know what to do about a cold in the eye? I wasn't successful googling it. After kids birthday party I picked them up, came home, and went to bed. I slept 10 hours but still feel incredibly tired.

So it rained ALL DAY Friday. I am so sick of rain. Where's the sun? Although I have to admit it was a perfect day to sleep. I just put the electric blanket on, took something similar to Dayquil, and crashed. Kevin had day off d/t not being able to work on roofs in rain so he took care of the kids. I really need to see the sunshine. My house is somewhat in order but this morning I need to do and fold laundry. Those kind of piled up (well laundry anyway) when Jen was visiting. The rest of the house is ok.

Gotta go grocery shopping either today or tomorrow. Wanna see lots of healthy food and snacks when I open the . I'm feeling so out of the loop with Weight Watchers this past week.

Very excited because this coming Thursday is my haircut and face/eyebrow wax and shaping. Can't wait to get my new do. I'm so sick of my hair right now. I need a change I just hope she can do it exactly how I want it

Anyway, that's about it. Anybody else up?

Good morning!!

Sorry you are feeling bad again Kara. Try cold compresses for the eye. I don't think there is anything you can do for the eye but wait it out. I have been sick since Feb. I was at the doctors 3 times (Feb. March and April) I never get sick. It is from going back to work and being exposed to tall the germs from the little ones. I even had walking pnuemonia. I am still feeling a little allergy sick but much better from before.

Last night I walked about 2 miles with my cousin while our girls were at softball practice. I didn't eat that great, but I ate pretty well all week so I could splurge a little, nothing too drastic. I even won $100.00 playing Bingo. At our local Elks that we belong to they have Bingo every Friday night and I won the cover all. That money goes to my mom's birthday present, she will be 60 on Tuesday. I told my dad that I would pitch in to buy her a porch swing. Right now she is on a cruise with her cousin, she comes home tonight. My kids miss her.

Today we have only 1 soccer game, but dh is working all weekend...again. I am going to try to walk before his game and then I have to clean this mess of a house and try to clean up the yard. I hate Spring cleaning the yard. I just want it to look nice. I have to drain the pond and put in fresh water. The water is so scummy from the winter. Also, we are giving one of my parents from school our wooden swing set with the fort and I want to get the yard looking presentable when they come to get it. She lives in a mansion, my house is the size of her garage. Dd also has softball practice tonight so maybe I will walk again.

We have that problem with all of K-Bug's friends! The funny thing is, like you, we're always giving them things and not always the other way around. Makes you wonder...

Sounds like you're doing good on exercise and eating. I skipped working out yesterday and feel like doing the same today. Just not feeling well... mentally and physically. I actually slept for 11 hours last night!!! (So unlike me... 5 hours is generally my typical sleep time.) I would love to just go for a walk outside because here (sorry Kara) the weather has been so nice and sunny and every day a little bit warmer (should be in the 70's today). Maybe I'll just plan for a hike with the family today. Force K-Bug out of the house... maybe when we drop off Lauren (who slept over last night). She'll be a captive audience then...another thing would be to take her to the field and practice a little bit...

I'm not doing well with eating or exercise lately... but my weight is at 116 so I guess I can't complain (I want to be 110)... as I've become one of those girls I can't stand complaining about their weight when they are not fat...but it's all a mind thing. I still look in the mirror and see the "old me". You know how on "How to Look Beautiful Naked" he asks the women to place themselves where they look compared to other women... I still see myself looking like the size 12 women... I realized that as I made a comment about someone being so skinny she doesn't have to worry about anything and a coworker commented that I'm about the same size? Really? I guess my brain is too busy doing work and homework to take it all in.... (For the record though, I still have a lot of loose fat from years of being heavier that is always my focal point when I see myself... my side view, my lower stomach sticks out a lot and that's because of all the extra skin...) Anyway... I need to stop being so critical about myself...

Kara~Sorry about the eye. Never heard of that one! I hope you feel better soon!

Anyway...I hope everyone has a great day today! The girls are up...must have been a late night for them... I'm such a bad "sleepover mom" as I went out hours before they did so I have no clue when they went to bed!!

Good Morning.

I have absolutely no motivation at all today. The weather here has been absolutely beautiful and the sun has been shinning for the first time in months. It was 77 degrees yesterday and today it is supposed to be close to 70 again. All I want to do is play around outside.

Unfortuantely I have three large research papers (15-20 pages each) that are all due between May 5th and May 10th. This is on top of my regular school work. I absolutely can not afford to not have any motivation but my motivation seems to have run away.

Anyone want to send me some motivation?

The other bad news is that the stress from these pending papers has been making me eat way too much food -- which of course only makes me feel worse. I've gotta break this cycle that I am falling into again.

Its hot here... in fact Im sunburnt lol. Rolled my sleeves up on my civil war dress to get some sun. Should have shown some legs lol.

kara... wash your eye out with warm water and baby shampoo. The water might irritate at first, but the baby shampoo wont. Feels great and gets rid of the gook.
