Hello gals
Looks like I beat you to posting Maria. LOL. What the heck? My smilies aren't working. I think my week could be summed up in one sentence:
[color="Red"][color="red"]Back to my regular scheduled life

I have had a good week but it's been a little weird getting back into a groove with my daughters back again. And my little one brought back a little suprise with her from Minnesota...pink eye. Lovely. Hopefully it will stay contained to her and not spread through our house like wildfire. She's been really difficult this week...super clingy and crabby and pushing limits big time. Just not her usual self. So lots of cuddling and snuggle time for me She's such a mini me. What I can smile about is our gradually warmer weather we are seeing and a return of the sun. An unpleasant side effect of spring being here is my horrendous allergies which are in full swing. Lots sneezing, sore throat, and coughing.
So I did what I said I was going to do and used my no weigh in on Tuesday night. Dulcie you were right...the next 3 week's topics are good ones for me. It's been a frustration having all this Easter candy in the house as we had literally JUST rid the house of all unhealthy foods that could get me in trouble. I'm using this week to regroup and re think ways I've been doing things thus far. I got a really nice email from my dad the other day and he offered support to me in my journey with WW and had nothing but positive things to say about the program. Kind of ironic since just a couple weeks ago I was ready to disown him. Funny how life works eh?
DH is back to working full time so thank God for that. Money can start rolling in any time now I've decided to do some more clothes purging. I have a bunch of professional clothes I used to wear for my job as a social worker throughout the years in nursing homes, but my job now is very casual dress so I think I'll donate them cuz I don't see myself wearing them any more or anytime soon. It would make more sense to get everyday clothes and clothes that make me feel good.
Food intake has been so so this week. A few slip ups but some healthy eating, too. Drinking more water. Really want to get monthy pass so I have access to E tools and can access WW recipes to make for myself and my family. Hope that isn't too far off. A big frustration the past couple weeks is now crappy I've been sleeping and then being tired during the day. Any suggestions for trouble with sleep would be great. I should note I sleep fine on the nights I work it's my days off that are the problem. Occupational hazard I suppose since I'm so used to being up during the night.
Something positive I would like to note is that my DH overall hygiene is getting better....perhaps a side effect of seeing me taking better care of myself? He's showering regularly, brushing his teeth daily, shaving regularly. This is really great to see He really is a handsome man...HOT, too. But not when he doesn't take care of himself. I'm really looking forward to the fruit coming into season soon...kind of is already. I had a really good orange this week....hmm tasty. Farmer's markets should be popping up soon...we have one in our town I can't wait to hit.
Well, really glad today is Friday and if any of you early birds are up feel free to write (hint hint)

Kara

Hi Kara! Nice to see you up this early!

Oh gosh - thank goodness it IS Friday!
Yesterday I went and checked my BMI and it's almost 29! So I went to look for my meal replacement bars - whoooooaaaah! they now cost 12 Euros a box (six meals)?!?!?! So I bought some veggies and grapefruit for breakfast instead and some stuff for Alex and in the end spent about 14 Euros - lol!
So this morning I got up, took a shower 'cause my hair was icky, had breakfast with tea and grapefruit and after ironing Alex's clothes for today I *actually climbed on the stairclimber*! I only did about 5 minutes or so, but I think I need to do it in the morning or I never will - in the afternoon I'm just too pooped.

Oooh, I also checked my max calorie intake and that's 1200 per day (like THAT'S news - right?) so I will have to arm myself again with a calorie counter and go to it. I hate feeling so, well, fat and wobbly and having my knees act like an 80 yo's and hurt just because I climb up on a chair or something. I am tired of not fitting into my clothes and that even my old "fat clothes" are starting to be tight. I am also tired of being tired and having headaches all the time. (hmmm, could be all the staring at the computer I do under neon lights, but I'm sure that my diet has something to do with that too)

So ladies - let's ROCK this weekend - shall we? LOL! See you later!

Friday came way too slow for me this week! I can't wait for the weekend. No hubby, no chores. Just me, the baby, and gorgeous weather! I'm so excited! Have a good weekend!

Hey Colleen
Hey I just noticed that you and I are trying to lose the exact same amount of weight...45 lbs. Best of luck to both of us
