Morning Ladies!

I need to make this post super quick. I am so behind today on everything I want to cry. I messed up and didn't complete a major assignment correctly that is due today. I thought all we had due was a paper bibliography but instead it was supposed to be a full rough draft of our paper. I emailed the teacher who is being very understanding but still I need to come up with something to give her.

Gotta go get busy. Have a good day.

Hey Allison,

How are things going? I have been lurking but as you know, not posting. Going back to work full time has really been tough on me and the family. I am great with the job, it is just that the family forgets that I am not there anymore to do all their dirty work anymore and they are finding that if they don't do it themselves, it doesn't get done. I don't know how many times my kids have worn dirty spots uniforms because they are too lazy to remember to remind me or to even put it in the place to get washed. Dh is liking the salary but not having to do things himself either. I took off today because he told me that I need to do my lesson plans a little earlier and take a day off this week to do something around the house. Needless to say, I am not speaking to him. What a jerk!! He was telling the kids (before he said that to me) that he was taking the day off Thursday and was going to do all this stuff around the house, then I took the day off and I found out that he is not taking off Thursday because he has things to do at work. I was so pi$$ed. He is used to me doing everything and I just possibly can't. He is coaching 3 teams and the kids are each on 2 soccer teams, dd is in softball, and they both are in karate. I am running my butt off trying to get them to different ends of the world. Sorry to vent, I am just very annoyed with him today I could scream.

Ok, sorry to whine. I wanted to jump back on again and tell you what a great job you are doing. You are really back on trackgood for you. I am trying to get back on track too. I am loosely doing WW and trying to walk when I have to take the kids to practice. Yesterday I walked about 3 miles so that was good. I have lost about 9lbs in the past month or so, so I hopefully will get back and stay on track. I was up to my all time high and it scared me. I am trying to so all the right things so we will see. I am going to try to post more so I can stay accountable.

Hi Maria....you have accomplished so much for yourself cheer up girl and enjoy life, this is the only one we have. I have been lurking and paying attention.

Hi Dulcie....Well since Allison moved out of PA I was glad to see someone move in, even though we live so far away. Your new potential move seems so exciting. Do you ever do any re-enactments out near Pittsburgh? Let me know, I would love to see yours. We went to one near us at Bushy Run and the kids loved it. It was very rainy that day so we are planning to go again this year and talk more to the re-enactors. You have done a great job yourself with wl, keep it up. Bravo on the new exercise program you will be buff before you know it.

Hello to the other dear ladies on this board. I am Kellie and I have been on this board forever....back in the beginning with Maria. I am soon to be 39 for the first time and I just went back to work fulltime with my own classroom this year. I am a preschool teacher and I love every minute of it, but my family is having a hard time with it as you read above. Last year I was teaching Middle school math but it was only part time, so I could be a part time slave at home too. Sorry, I am still bitter at my husband today. Looking forward to meeting you. I feel like I know everyone by lurking, sorry......I just haven't been able to post but feel that I can now.

Have a good day ladies.

Hi all,
Just a quick check-in and then I am going to go lie down. Jen and her daughter just left (Caiti was really missing her house and daddy; she's not quite 3 yet) and the house is way too quiet. We had a wonderful time...just what I needed. But this morning I woke up with the mother of all colds and have been shivering even though it's 60's today. So I took my temp and it's almost 102. Lovely. I have both kids today so hopefully they are cool with just laying low and letting mom rest. My head feels like it's going to explode...ouch. Definitely Nyquil and an early bedtime for me tonight....no work tonight. I'll check in more on my life the latter part of this week. I miss everyone

Kara

Allison.. Hope you got something done to turn into the teacher!

Kellie...great to see you dropping in. My family is having a hard time adjusting to me working too, and its only for a few hrs. Hate to see what happens come fall/winter when I do have a part time job and cant do as much. I feel like a chicken with its head cut off some days. Today I have Kyler home (she needed a mental day... she started her very first af and is having some problems with it), and we ran errands all day, I did my workout, paid bills then we left at 10, its just after 2 and we just got home. I have to finish putting away all the groceries still. I need to switch laundry and dh wants me to mow the backyard since he didnt get to it. I also need to sew Kyler a new chemise for this weekend and I have a customer order for trousers that i really wanted to get done today, but havent even started.

Kara...hope you feel better. You sound like I did the other day, only I didnt have a fever.

Afternoon! Sorry to be such a fly by. With a toddler and a newborn, things are alot busier!

Eating has been crap. I hate to cook. HATE HATE HATE. Did I say HATE!! I do not even like that word. lol

I have a moms night out tonight then time to get in gear. I have not been to Y lately. Adam started potty training and they will not help him there. So until he can do most of it himself, we are at home. I bought the New Jillian 30 Day Shred DVD. I will start that tomorrow. It is supposed to be great!

Well gotta get ready to go. I have to stop by the store first and get Adam some swim diapers cause he starts swim lessons tomorrow night! I can't believe he is old enough for this stuff. Soccer starts in 3 weeks!!

Hi Kelli! I've still been lurking, too. I'm doing ok but just frustrated with life...I seriously need a vacation. I checked my time and discovered I used a lot of my vacation days to do school events or other activities where I didn't really have a day for myself so I don't really have much time in the summer. So it's going to be a long summer... luckily, I'll have enough time by October for Disney as I can keep that in the back of my mind!

I understand where you're coming from with working. My house is so messy...when I get home from work, I am drained. It's not physical work but mental work and it's always full of so much drama. And now that I have classes, homework is always lurking as well. I've asked for help but it last all of 10 minutes... I take time off of "my time" to clean the house and by the next day it's a mess. Not even a courtesy of "maintaining" is granted... it's frustrating and gives you a "why bother" attitude. K-Bug's friend's houses are all spotless but none of their mothers' work... hmm.... maybe I should quit my job!!! LOL!! Then forget about the disney trip as we're already pretty much living paycheck to paycheck as it is... we're pretty much using our tax money for this vacation. (Booked it yesterday (well, April 16th) and it was so hard to say, yes, book it...as I know it's going to take a big chunk out of our savings...there are so many "little" extras that keep adding up!)

Allison~I agree with Kelli, you have definitely been doing an amazing job. You set your mind to it and have been making new changes and keeping up with the exercise routine... you're definitely motivated! Now... just get that homework done!!! (I've spent many mornings waking up at 1 am and getting my work done for that morning.) You're almost there... I discovered at the rate I'm going I won't graduate until 2015!! LOL!!! (Maybe I need to step a little bit! )

Kara~Hope you're feeling better!!

Dulcie~I'm dreading when Michaela gets her AF. Her cousin got hers at 10 and K-Bug just turned 10!!! We ready the "American Girl" book that talked about it and I bought her pads to use so she's all set...we still need to practice putting them on... but that's a good idea about putting some in her backpack... will have to do that!!!!!!!

Carissa~ Hi to you too! Nice to see your name! I hate to cook too. Well, that's not true. I like cooking but it has to be when I want to do it and it has to be something I like. When DH used to work 3 to 11, I'd get home and relax for a couple of hours and then cook his meal for the next day around 7 and put it in a container. All his buddies at work use to ask if I'd make more because they all liked my cooking. Now I come home from work and he's there, she's there and they both want to eat NOW. Um... a good meal takes time. Soo.... frozen dinners, packaged meals, and good ole' Chef Boy-R-Dee seems to be the general cuisine in my house as I hate being rushed to do something when I'm not "ready" to do it. Personally, I'm happy for a sandwich or a bowl of oatmeal for dinner as it's usually my smallest meal. Anyway... hope you had fun with the moms!!!

Ok... cutting into my workout time so I can't post a new thread for today!! I am doing ok though. I bought one of those big green bottles that they used in Biggest Loser (they are 20 oz each). Yesterday, I filled it up 3 times. I'm trying to up my water as I know it's the source of why I'm so hungry as I'm feeding my thirst. I wake up with a dry mouth and am always dry but reach for food. Am trying to restart my WW thinking as I don't want to break my goal to stay below 120 during 2008. Plus I bought a dress for a wedding in July and it was snug when I bought it...don't want to have to go find another one!!!!

Enjoy your Thursday everyone!!
