Where is everyone? Whenever I don't have time to post, I at least like to lurk but there's no one here? My last class was yesterday, my presentation is behind me (I went long and got cut off...) and though I still have a five page paper due Tuesday (my final), I'm feeling less stressed. (Funny thing is, I loved this class, I liked the students--they were so nice, and I really liked my professor so I'm going to miss it but I'm glad it's over.) I have one more event left for the semester and then that part of my job will quiet down...next is balancing budgets. My next class starts end of May and it's an accelerated class that ends at the end of June, then I'll take the summer off! YAY!

For now, I can't say I'm doing well... haven't worked out in 2 weeks as my mornings have been preoccupied with doing my presentation and/or doing work at home. I had planned on a fresh start in May and working out yesterday but I didn't event get to do that as I had a meeting in the morning about what I did in April and I lost track of time putting it together and worked right through my workout time again... it's becoming a bad habit as now I'm not motivated to get on the elliptical...

Foodwise has been just as bad, been eating so much junk lately. No conscious thought to keeping to my points... my sweet tooth is back and stronger than ever... after K-Bug's party which had an ice cream sundae bar, I've been slowly cleaning out all the remaining ice cream (pretty sure cookie dough is not light ).

Luckily, my weight lifting increased my metabolism somewhat as my weight today was 115. But I know that I'm playing Russian Roulette because if I keep this up my weight is going to start creeping up more...I was actually 110 for awhile and my average weight keeps going up. Plus where I had muscle (like my stomach, back and legs) is now not as toned as it use to be...basically, same weight but composed of fat and not muscle.

As for DH and me, I'm just letting him be the way he wants. I refuse to let him bring me down. My goal for my own personal well-being is to take care of myself and spend some "fun" time with my daughter while she's still old enough to enjoy being with us. It goes by way to fast...

Anyway...a day late but I'm going to make May my month to get myself back in shape and to start eating better. It's been since December! I've been slacking way too long and summer is just around the corner!

My plan for today:

WATER: Still my hardest challenge as I haven't been able to wrap myself around drinking enough...I'm hoping as the days get warmer that it will pick up... my goal today is to drink at least 16 oz in am and 16 in pm.

FOOD: Make good food choices...stick to 24 Points or lower.

EXERCISE: At 4, stop whatever I'm doing on the computer and get on that elliptical and do Day 1 of program 1 (starting again from the beginning). Stop making excuses that "I don't have time" as it's just a way to get out of it...I can do my work at work!

TODAY'S GOAL: No Candy, chocolate, cake, whatever the office staff decides to throw at me. AVOID IT!!

Come on everyone, "COME OUT AND PLAY!!"

lol.. I was just coming to post. I have been super busy too. No time to workout. Ive been looking for another job, stressed at the one I have, all because of lame people. When Im home I spend that time cleaning or cooking. Not working out. So yah.. I completely understand!
