Default Important Health and Safety Information

Like most people I always assumed that the products that I used in my home where safe. Did you know that the government doesn’t regulate the ingredients that go into the things we use in our homes each day? Like personal care products such as shampoo, lotion, cosmetics, also laundry products and even cleaning products. These products can contain many harmful chemicals that can create indoor pollution in your home and may also affect your overall health. The active ingredient in Lysol is a pesticide that’s what kills the germs. Most personal care products contain a form of formaldehyde it’s a cheap preservative even the leading baby shampoo contains this harmful ingredient. Bleach that is commonly used as a disinfectant can cause breathing problems and can also affect your reproductive system. Many of these products ingredients have also been linked to the cause of cancer, reproductive disorders, kidney and liver damage, asthma, tumors, bone marrow damage, heart attacks, dermatitis, central nervous system disorders. Each year over 1 million children are accidentally poisoned in their homes. More than 250,000 hospitalized. Three thousand children will end up in intensive care. Dozens more will die. Thousands of children and adults are permanently disfigured or injured through contact with chemicals in the home each year. And incredibly, the most common substance to poison children is household cleaners. Many of these products are considered safe. Think of your own home. You probably have dozens of bottles of cleaners, containing hundreds of chemicals. All this data came from the National Poison Control Centers.
