Sunday night, we lost a Sept 2001 baby. He was only 3 1/2 years old and lost his battle with Leukemia. He was only diagnosed 2 months or so ago. He was doing so well and was considered to be in remission. Sunday morning he woke up with a 103.5 fever, his parents rushed him to the hospital. Trenton was admitted to the Pediatric ICU. His fever continued to rise. He coded (I believe more than once). They never did get little Trenton back.

His older sisters just screamed when they were told. I've talked to his Mom a few times now and feel like someone is playing a mean and cruel joke. His autopsy was done yesterday and they're waiting the results. His funeral and Memorial service is tomorrow. His Mom said that the toughest thing she had to do was pick out his casket and what he was going to be buried in. Can you imagine? How do you bury your child? He was only a baby. He was only 2 weeks older than my dd.

I'm angry, hurt, upset and sickened by this... I can't imagine the pain and anguish the family is feeling.

Could you ladies Keep Trenton and the Wilcox family in your prayers while they go through this tramatic time of their lives?

Your request brings tears to my eyes. I have a child about the same age> She was born May 01'. I will pray for them. I couldn't imagine losing my daughter. shes at such a fun age !

I had heard @ Trenton - and had prayed for him when he was first dx. And now Kaitlin from the Sept. boards w/ALL along w/my Laurel from Oct/Nov board. I am praying for peace for Trenton's family. He followed another little boy, Patrick, whom earned his wings from fighting Wilms.

I have a Dec. 2001 sweetie and cannot even imagine the pain she and her whole family is going through! I'll keep them in my thoughts and send them tons of positive thoughts and tons of prayers. :cry So sad

Being a Sept 2003 mom, I have an emotional connection to all Sept mommas. My heart is breaking for that family.
