I do not wish to turn this into a soap box nor I do wish to debate this subject as I know it is a touchy one with many people. I will only tell the story and ask that you pray for this family in their time of suffering. Pray for their peace of mind that the Lord does know best. Names will be left out to protect their identity.

I am a member of an immigration forum that deals mostly with family based immigration and the process it takes to follow the law. We have a family on the forum that is following the law and doing what is asked of them but because of doing what they were told a wife and children will now be living their life without a husband and father. Over the weekend "wife" tried several times to contact "husband" who is living in Juarez, Mexico to wait for a decision on their visa waiver that had been pending since November of last year. When someone finally did answer his phone it was the police. They informed here that her husband along with 3 other men had been kidnapped and they had no further details at that time. Over the next 24 hours 3 bodies were found in a car and her husband was one of them. Before anyone asummes he must have been a bad guy, I want you to know that he wasnt. He was living with a gentlemen in Juarez who was a federal respresentative and one of the leading fighters against the drug cartels. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. She is only 26 years old and too young to be a widow. I ask that anyone reading this that you please pray for this family. They are fighting right now to have his body returned the U.S. so that he can have a proper buriel where his true family lives.
