My Baby Girl was diagnosed w/a cancerous tumor called Wilm's Tumor 3 days after her 3rd birthday. On 10/25, her left kidney, 11" tumor and 2 lymph nodes were removed in a wonderfully fast surgery. It took several days to get the pathology reports back. They were the best we could expect at that point. Her histology came back favorable and the lymph nodes were clean! We were originally told 6 mos. to 2 yrs of chemotherapy. But that has been shortened to only 18 weeks!

Laurel has been sooooo strong & such a trooper thru all of this. I always thought "OMG, if my child ever had cancer, I would just cry & cry & die." Boy was I wrong! Kids w/cancer r the strongest, happiest, most beautiful children I will ever know!

I am asking for continual prayers until her chemo is over and her immune system does get back to 100%. We just had our 2nd treatment today (1st was on last day of hospital stay).
